Job summary

Western Container Corp. is seeking a shift supervisor to coach, coordinate and support production teams to meet established goals. The role ensures proper shift staffing, tool availability, and adherence to production schedules, quality, and safety standards.

You will act as a liaison to shifts, leadership, and customers, driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities include directing shift activities, developing staff, maintaining relevant documentation, and attending meetings to align with

Responsibilities

• Direct, organize and coordinate shift efforts for production requirements.
• Manage member development and training.
• Monitor housekeeping and safety issues; take corrective action.
• Document timesheets, production reports and personnel files.
• Ensure adequate staffing; adjust to schedule changes.
• Monitor quality issues and react to SPC data.
• Plan, organize, and attend team and staff meetings.
• Coordinate all activities for the assigned shift to meet productivity and quality targets; may work day, evening, or night shifts.

Description

Coach, coordinate and support the efforts of shift members to achieve our established mission and goals. To ensure shift personnel placement meets production requirements. To ensure the production schedule is followed correctly. Monitor adherence to quality, safety, housekeeping and timekeeping standards and take corrective action as needed. Insure the shift personnel have the proper tools and systems to perform their jobs. Documentation of personnel files. Assist members with development and growth. Serve as an information link to other shifts, leadership, corporate and customers.

Requirements
