Job summary

Aptiv in Garden Grove, CA is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support end-to-end order fulfillment, ensuring accurate entry, timely shipments, and compliant documentation. You will coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors to maintain on-time delivery and meet customer requirements.

Reporting to the Sr. Program Manager, the role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, process discipline, and proactive resolution of issues in a fast-paced aerospace/manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in operations, supply chain, or order management (aerospace or manufacturing preferred).
• Experience with aerospace or high-reliability industry requirements is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with shipping, compliance, and quality documentation (SDR, certs, inspection reports).
• Knowledge of subcontractor coordination and purchase order processes.
• Experience with customer portals and ERP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Detail-oriented and process-driven with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, paired with a problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the system.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure orders are processed and aligned with production schedules.
• Update customer portals with accurate ship dates to maintain on-time delivery commitments.
• Prepare shipping documentation, including shipping labels, material certifications, SDRs, and deviation requests as needed.
• Submit inspection documentation and coordinate inspection requests.
• Manage post-shipment activities, including invoicing through customer portals and updating shipping portals with tracking details.
• Support material sales to customers.
• Ensure all documentation meets customer and quality compliance requirements.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
