Job summary

FII USA, Inc. in Wisconsin seeks a Production Controller Supervisor to lead a team in the Supporting Quality department within a manufacturing setting.

You will plan and control production-related activities and ensure schedules meet customer requirements. Responsibilities include supervising staff, analyzing schedules, coordinating workflow across departments, maintaining inventory, and reporting on progress and downtime.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Supply Chain Management; Bachelor's preferred.
• 2–5 years in supply chain or manufacturing.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong focus on product safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team while prioritizing policies, strategic objectives, and organizational goals.
• Manage deadlines to meet or exceed customer requirements.
• Analyze production schedules and calculate worker-hour requirements.
• Schedules coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to expedite production.
• Reviews master production schedule work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and availability or capability of workers, parts, material, machines and equipment.
• Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate machine setups.
• Distributes work orders to departments, denoting number, type, and proposed completion date of units to be produced.
• Confers with department supervisors to define progress of work to provide information on changes in processing methods received from methods or engineering departments.
• Compiles reports concerning progress of work and downtime due to failures of machines equipment to apprise production planning personnel of production delays.
• Maintains inventory of materials parts needed to complete production.
• May expedite material
• May use computer system to track locate production units.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of relevant working experience in areas of supply chain (i.e. procurement) or manufacturing is required.
• Above average capabilities with Microsoft Excel and SAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
