Job summary

Toyota Industries Electric Systems North America (TIESNA-GA) in Georgia is seeking a Production Control Specialist to coordinate materials, schedules, and logistics for our new DC-AC inverter production line.

You will develop mid-term and weekly production plans, manage data in Infor and other planning systems, and collaborate with customers and suppliers to maintain on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Operations, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in production control, supply chain, materials planning, logistics, or manufacturing.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, MRP systems, and AS400.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain mid-term and weekly production schedules.

  • Analyze inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess inventory.
  • Forecast customer demand and production requirements.
  • Coordinate purchasing activities to support production.
  • Manage EDI transactions and customer logistics requirements.
  • Communicate directly with customers, suppliers, carriers, and internal departments.
  • Monitor delivery performance and implement continuous improvements.
  • Identify production risks and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Support a Just-in-Time (JIT) manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate across departments in a multicultural, team-oriented workplace.

As a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), a global leader in automotive components, material handling equipment, and logistics solutions, TIESNA-GA is launching a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Pendergrass, Georgia. What You'll Do

What We're Looking For
