Job summary

Solution One Industries is seeking a Production Control Clerk for our Fort Stewart location. The role focuses on maintenance production management to achieve desired production levels and to support units with readiness and maintenance guidance.

You will maintain data, coordinate with units, manage workorders, and track parts, defects, and manhours to ensure efficient repair operations and equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Track and report production metrics and performance.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Able to read and comprehend vehicle manuals
• Knowledge of production and inventory control and planning methods
• Demonstrated strong organizational and planning skills
• Demonstrated strong analysis and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Compile and record production data from customer orders.
• Open and close unit work orders.
• Track parts/materials ordered against vehicles.
• Track frequencies of defects.
• Track mechanic manhours as recorded.
• Coordinate with units and other support activities concerning delivery, status of repair operations, and/or pick up of completed work orders.
• Coordinate with logistical personnel, equipment specialists, higher ranked management officials, item managers at depots concerning critical shortages of repair parts required to support the maintenance repair program.
• Use readiness, production and management reports from the current automation support system and/or manual system to provide status of equipment, maintenance actions in progress, and location of equipment as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
