Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Program planning and production control experience.
• Project management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office with emphasis on Excel (V-lookups, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas).
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Maintains production schedule for manufacturing, quality testing, and development.
• Prioritizes production tasks to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Adjusts schedules in response to material shortages, machine breakdowns, or changes in demand.
• Recommends changes in available labor or equipment and communicates schedules to production areas.
• Leads/participates in material stream meetings to ensure availability of raw materials and packaging materials before production begins.
• Uses MRP systems to track material needs and deliveries.
• Balances workloads across production lines to maximize efficiency.
• Plans for overtime, shift changes, or outsourcing if capacity is insufficient.
• Tracks production progress in real time and resolves bottlenecks or delays.
• Works with supervisors and machine operators to ensure adherence to the schedule.
• Analyzes KPIs such as production rates, downtime, and efficiency.
• Communicates with program management and logistics teams to align on priorities.
• Provides updates on production status, delays, and risks.
• Identifies inefficiencies and implements lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity.
