Job summary

Astemo, Ltd. is seeking a Production Control Planner to own the master production schedule and day-to-day sequencing that align the plant with customer demand. You will translate orders and forecasts into an executable build plan and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to mitigate schedule risk.

In this role, you will manage MPS across lines, run MRP in SAP ERP, and drive continuous improvement in scheduling accuracy and lead times within a regulated manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in SCM/Engineering/Business.
• 3–5 years in production scheduling or production control in automotive or regulated manufacturing.
• Hands-on MRP in an ERP system with exception message resolution.
• Experience interpreting customer demand and EDI scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Build, publish, and maintain the master production schedule (MPS) across lines.
• Translate customer orders and forecasts into firm/planned production orders.
• Reschedule and re-sequence orders to resolve material shortages and capacity conflicts.
