Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Technical Certificate with 1–3 years’ experience in Production Planning or Inventory Control preferred.
• Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in a Japanese company (in Japan or the US) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform production planning as part of the Production Control Planning team.
• Forecast weekly and monthly customer demand, issue new models, manage inventory and containers for smooth production.
• Assist with demand uploads and improve workflows for planning efficiency.
• Enter new design levels/parts/customers into EDI and manage DCN entries.
• Oversee container scheduling, tracking, and availability to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Occasional evening/night meetings with overseas facilities to discuss production and forecast issues.
• Perform other duties to support production planning and business objectives.
