Sumitomo Electric Wiring Systems, Inc. in El Paso seeks a seasoned Production Planner to manage Ford customer mass production, service parts and PIAS accounts.

You will lead SCA team members to analyze 830/862 data and coordinate inbound/outbound for Ford locations. You will optimize finished goods inventory, align with manufacturing partners, revise delivery schedules, and develop contingency plans to protect inventory and ensure on-time shipments of 830/862 orders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business management, supply chain or related field.
• 8–10 years progressive experience in production planning, material planning and warehouse operations.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage demand for finished goods, ensuring quality and timely responses to issues.
• Oversee daily activities of production planning for wire harnesses; coordinate with manufacturing partners to resolve problems.
• Utilize production planning systems to maintain inventory in line with policy and flag shortages/overages.
• Communicate delivery schedules and contingency plans to upper management and manufacturing sites.
