Job summary

AISIN Drivetrain, Inc. in Crothersville, IN seeks a Production Control - Assistant Manager to lead departmental plans and production-control activities. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and logistics, and drive data-driven improvements.

The role requires strong communication, ERP mastery, blueprint reading, and leadership abilities to enhance delivery and inventory performance within a high-standards manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with internal and external contacts, both verbal and written.
• ERP systems knowledge (Oracle-Fusion or similar).
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• MS Office / Power BI and data tools experience.
• Maintain IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops and oversees departmental policies, procedures, systems, and yearly job plans.
• Develops and monitors departmental goals and targets.
• Oversees internal and external logistics.
• Evaluates data to optimize allocation of parts, materials, machines and workflows.
• Directs training and education to improve performance and career development.
• Prepares and oversees department budget and controls expenditures.
• Communicates with customers and suppliers and monitors production schedules.
• Manages Inventory Control System and data integration through DX tools.
• Conducts performance evaluations for all specialists.
