Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing environment focused on production control or materials management.
  • Experience in manufacturing plants is required.

Responsibilities

  • Review morning inventories for potential criticals.
  • Check part status for all customers and prioritize shipments.
  • Analyze and prepare expedites for plants as needed.
  • Coordinate with scheduling to protect customers and manage die sets.
  • Prepare car loading matrix for switches and print pick lists.
  • Review rack status and daily inventory for shortages.
  • Print available car inventory and review CMMS car manifests.
  • Select railcars for switches and check railcar cubing.
  • Monitor TSAA for overdue rail cars or inbound trucks.
  • Put lineup in CMMS to inform customers about parts in transit.
  • Resolve CUM disagreements with customers and respond to shortages.
  • Communicate status changes as the day progresses.
