Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking a production support employee for the day shift (7AM-3PM). The role focuses on maintaining an orderly production environment, managing materials, and ensuring the Production Schedule is followed.

You will generate labels, conduct inventory transactions, and monitor workorder status through the Scheduling System. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• Organizational skills and the ability to work with little supervision are necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Excel and email experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Generate production labels.
• Perform inventory control transactions.
• Perform material counts.
• Research and update workorder status through the Scheduling System.
• Review daily and weekly plant performance reports.
• Prioritize daily production schedule.
