Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Production Control Clerk in Casa Grande, AZ. The role focuses on developing and maintaining production schedules, material planning, and BOM control to keep manufacturing operations efficient and on track.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in production planning or scheduling, experience with ERP/MRP, and strong Excel/Word skills. This is a direct-hire, full-time position offering standard benefits and a daytime schedule.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate or technical degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Ability to interpret technical docs, manufacturing data and production requirements.
  • Minimum 2 years in production planning, scheduling or operations.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Word for data entry, reporting, and docs.
  • Experience managing BOMs, work orders and schedules preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules using ERP and Excel.
  • Determine material requirements based on orders, specs and ERP data.
  • Monitor production performance and report schedule attainment metrics.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage capacity, labor, and workflow priorities.
  • Assign lead times, due dates, and routing for jobs.
  • Investigate supplier, inventory, and scheduling discrepancies.
  • Support continuous improvement in planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Participate in project reviews and new product introductions.
  • Create and validate master BOMs and work-order BOMs for accuracy.
  • Prepare production docs including drawings, routers, travelers, and schedules.
  • Maintain awareness of projects, workload, demand, and capacity.

Pay Rate: $20.67 - $21.15 per hour

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Education Requirements

Job Duties
  • Develop and maintain production schedules using ERP systems and Excel to support manufacturing operations and customer requirements.
  • Determine material and part requirements based on customer orders, engineering specifications, and ERP data.
  • Monitor production performance and report schedule attainment metrics.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to efficiently manage production capacity, labor resources, and workflow priorities.
  • Assign manufacturing lead times, due dates, and routing information for released and special-order jobs.
  • Investigate and resolve supplier, inventory, and production discrepancies that impact scheduling.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to planning, scheduling, and reporting processes.
  • Participate in project reviews, milestone meetings, and new product introduction activities.
  • Create, maintain, and validate master bills of materials (BOMs) and work-order BOMs for accuracy.
  • Verify BOMs against engineering documentation and drawings.
  • Prepare production documentation packages, including drawings, routers, travelers, instructions, and completion schedules.
  • Maintain awareness of active projects, manufacturing workload, customer demand, and production capabilities.
