Staffmark Group in Casa Grande, AZ is seeking a Tool and Die Machinist to operate manufacturing equipment, inspect quality, and contribute to safe, efficient production.

Pay rate is $26.50 - $31.50 per hour for 1st and 2nd shifts (7:00–3:30 PM or 3:30 PM–12:00 AM). Education: HS diploma or GED preferred; 2–3 years related experience, with sheet-metal/HVAC knowledge and basics of electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training production workers on safe operation of tooling and fixtures.
• Support quality inspections and ensure production standards are met.
• Plan and execute tooling changes and basic maintenance tasks.

• Experience in sheet-metal and/or HVAC Industry a Huge Plus
• Requires a demonstrated knowledge in areas of basic electricity, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Experience in designing and building tooling and fabricated metal devices
• Must possess verifiable experience in problem solving, project planning and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Tool and Die Machinist.

Job Duties

• Design, build, and repair: Shop Tooling, Fabricated Fixtures, Test tooling, and fixtures; utilize blueprints and Design Sketches
• Familiarity with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures
• Thorough knowledge of the strengths and properties of materials used
• Knowledge and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in an efficient manner
• Assist in training production workers in the safe and proper operation of shop tooling and fixtures

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
