Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Production Control Associate to support the Columbus Forge team. You will prepare, organize, and move critical materials, assist part flow, and ensure safe, efficient movement through the forge process.

This weekend day shift (Fri-Sun, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) requires strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures to maintain production schedules and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience in manufacturing, production control or logistics preferred.
  • Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Locate, identify, and prepare parts for testing, processing, or movement within the facility.
  • Organize, package, weigh, band, and stage parts for shipment and production needs.
  • Prepare and transport materials between Columbus Forge locations using company vehicles and material handling equipment.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment to move parts and materials safely.
  • Support inventory organization and housekeeping to maintain a clean production environment.

Job Summary: Join the Columbus Forge team as a Production Control Associate, where you’ll play a key role in keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly. By preparing, organizing, and moving critical materials, supporting part flow, and maintaining an efficient production environment, you’ll help ensure hardware moves safely and efficiently through the Forge process.

This is a Weekend Day Shift position: Friday - Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
What You Will Do:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
