Job summary

Tarkett in Connecticut is seeking a Production Control Analyst to optimize daily production throughput by sequencing orders and monitoring material availability. You will work with the management team to prevent line stoppages and ensure on-time delivery to customers.

The role requires 2+ years in production planning, proficiency with SAP/ERP, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative mindset to improve inventory, safety stock, and capacity planning across product lines.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production planning, production control, inventory management, or related role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics) strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify trends and recommend safety stock levels based on product lifecycle.
• Update plant SAP material records (lot size, safety stocks, reorder points, lead times).
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure component availability and on-time shipment.
• Expedite shipments when necessary and communicate EDAs/ETAs clearly.
• Collaborate with NPM and Master Schedulers to optimize inventory and capacity.
