Job summary

Tarkett is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead Production Planning and Inventory Control across multiple manufacturing sites. You will own the monthly SIOP, build plans balancing demand with capacity and material availability, and lead a team of planners and schedulers ensuring on-time, on-cost performance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive experience in production planning, production control, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading planning/scheduling teams across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Made-to-Order manufacturing experience preferred (carpet, flooring, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multi-site team of Production Planners and Schedulers, setting planning standards across locations.
• Own the monthly SIOP process and integrate demand, capacity, and inventory into actionable plans.
• Build production plans and schedules balancing customer demand, capacity, labor, and materials across sites.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Procurement to secure raw materials and reduce excess inventory while maintaining service levels.
• Serve as planning partner to Operations, Customer Service, and Sales to resolve capacity and priority conflicts.
• Track planning performance and inventory KPIs using ERP/MRP data, Excel, and SQL; drive corrective actions.
• Standardize planning processes and drive continuous improvement across locations.

SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER

Tarkett is looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER to lead our Production Planning and Inventory Control (PIC) function across multiple manufacturing sites. You'll own the monthly SIOP process, build production and inventory plans that balance customer demand with capacity and material availability, and lead a team of planners and schedulers who keep our plants running on time and on cost.

This is a highly cross-functional role — you'll work daily with Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Product Management and Sales to keep production plans realistic and customer commitments on track.

What this role will be responsible for:

• Leading and developing a multi-site team of Production Planners and Schedulers, setting consistent planning standards and performance expectations across locations.
• Owning the monthly SIOP process — integrating demand, capacity, and inventory into an actionable production plan, and giving leadership visibility into risks and trade-offs.
• Building production plans and schedules that balance customer demand, manufacturing capacity, labor, and material availability across multiple sites.
• Partnering with Supply Chain and Procurement to keep raw materials available and reduce excess inventory without hurting service levels.
• Serving as the key planning partner to Operations, Customer Service, and Sales — resolving conflicts around capacity, priorities, and order fulfillment.
• Tracking planning performance and inventory KPIs, using ERP/MRP data, Excel, and SQL to spot risks early and drive corrective action.
• Standardizing planning processes and best practices across manufacturing locations, and lead continuous improvement initiatives in planning and scheduling.

Experience & Education Desired:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in production planning, production control, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment, including experience leading planning/scheduling teams.
• Experience in Made-to-Order manufacturing; carpet, flooring, or other commercial manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Planning and Production Control practices. Relevant to the carpet/flooring manufacturing industry, strongly preferred.
• Experience managing planning activities across multiple manufacturing locations, strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL and ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience leading SIOP/S&OP processes.
• Ability to travel (up to 10%) to manufacturing locations, corporate offices or supplier/customer sites.
