Job summary

BonnaVilla, a division of Chief Industries, seeks a full-time Production Construction - Finish Flooring associate in Aurora, Nebraska, to perform carpet and snap lock flooring installation in residential settings. You will layout from blueprints, operate staple/nail guns and power tools, and ensure accurate finish per specifications.

Qualifications

• Requires the ability to layout product accurately based on blue prints.
• Construction experience and use of a wide variety of construction tools.
• Preferred knowledge of reading tape measures and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Perform preparation, layout and installation of carpet and carpet pad in the home.
• Understand blue prints and production orders and be able to layout and build product accurately from them.
• Use staple and nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices and other equipment as required by the job.
• Install heat registers and cover carpet with plastic.
• Install door stops, wall type, and hinge mount.
• Verify concept quotes and specifications for snaplock flooring.
• Remove wall vents, floor register, and vent plugs to return to box.
• Remove patio door side jambs, and label Left and Right.
• Scrape entire floor and sweep.

Experience

Requires the ability to layout product accurately based on the blue prints

Construction experience & the use of a large variety of construction tools are required.

Preferred

Knowledge of the reading of a tape measure and blue prints.
