Job summary

Hexpol Compounding Americas is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for on-site work in Statesville, NC. You will perform compounding, weighing, and mixing of materials and ensure safe operation of equipment throughout the facility.

Responsibilities include material checks, batch inspection, and reporting issues to supervision. Must have basic math, ability to read instructions, and good communication skills; on-site role with standard safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to visually identify color differences in finished goods.

Responsibilities

• Perform compounding, weighing, mixing, processing of materials and safe operation of equipment.
• Check raw materials for contamination and weigh/mix per formulations.
• Inspect scales and operate equipment per procedures.
• Monitor batch mixing and report inconsistencies or changes to supervisor.
• Maintain clean equipment, mill area and workstations to prevent contamination.
• Follow safety rules, wear PPE and adhere to lock-out/tag-out procedures.
