Job summary

Mars (New) is seeking a Production Coordinator to support daily production plans and build operator capability across shifts. The role trains, coaches, and mentors up to 15 associates and contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and on-time execution while aligning with site strategy.

You will work with an Operations Leader to plan, prioritize training, and drive continuous improvement, including Autonomous Maintenance and Daily Management Systems, across multiple production areas.

Qualifications

• Operate and manage production equipment across multiple areas.
• Complete training to become Autonomous Maintenance Coach.
• Train associates and operate equipment in assigned area.
• Proven advanced skills from training and experience.
• Experience leading change and applying situational leadership.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and SAP; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly production plan with Operations Leader.
• Build operator capability and cross-shift problem solving.
• Relieve Production Leader duties when needed.
• Guide AM and DMS training including CIL, CLs, Abnormality Handling, 5S.
• Drive loss elimination by analyzing data and suggesting solutions.
• Mentor associates in self-development and business objectives.
• May cover operators in assigned areas.
• Work independently within established procedures.
