Job summary

Mars, Incorporated and its Affiliates is seeking a Production Coordinator to plan daily/weekly production with the Production Leader and mentor associates to deliver plans. The role functions across shifts to ensure smooth operation and acts as a flexible resource when needed.

You will drive loss elimination by analyzing data, build capability, and lead problem solving, while maintaining adherence to defined procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field with 2 years’ manufacturing experience or 5+ years with progressive responsibility.
• Certified Trainer with demonstrated training delivery.
• Experience operating powered industrial vehicles in a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with SAP/JDA warehouse systems.

Responsibilities

• Create daily and weekly production plan with the Production Leader and support execution.
• Build associate capability, problem solving and technical understanding across teams and shifts.
• In the absence of the Production Leader, perform the duties of the role with leadership behaviors.
• Drive loss elimination of raw ingredients, packaging material, and finished goods by analyzing data and recommending solutions.
• Recommend areas of opportunity to improve KPIs such as productivity, quality, safety.
• Participate in cycle counts and mentor associates on development and objectives.
• Maintain Level 4 Step Up Cards (SUCs).
• May relieve associates as needed within assigned areas.
• Work independently within established procedures and practices.
