Job summary

Lake Region Trailer, LLC is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to lead our trailer manufacturing operations. You will oversee daily production workflow, team leadership, safety, quality, scheduling, and cross-functional communication while supporting custom trailer design through CAD work.

The ideal candidate has strong manufacturing leadership, welding and metal fabrication knowledge, and the ability to guide projects from kickoff to final delivery with a focus on quality, efficiency,

Qualifications

• Lead production and supervision in a manufacturing/fabrication setting.
• Develop and interpret CAD drawings for trailer designs and manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including sales, purchasing, and production.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify CAD drawings for custom trailer designs and production projects.
• Translate drawings and specs into production plans and instructions.
• Coordinate with sales, purchasing, suppliers, customers, and production staff.
• Lead daily production operations, scheduling, resource allocation, and bottleneck resolution.
• Provide technical guidance on fabrication methods and drawing interpretation.
• Support estimating by identifying material and labor needs.
• Maintain safety, quality, and process standards while driving improvements.
• Coach and develop production team members.
