You will help maintain quality, cost, delivery, and safety standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role emphasizes independent design work, adherence to schedules, and continuous improvement through Lean practices.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and engineering docs.
• Support trailer design, customization, and product development.
• Participate in design reviews and engineering change processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, Purchasing, and Quality teams.
• Drive improvements in manufacturability, quality, and cost.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure designs and documentation comply with standards and customer requirements.
• Deliver assigned work according to established schedules.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in drawings and engineering documentation.
• Help reduce rework and production disruptions through accurate and effective design support.
• Support customer satisfaction through quality products and responsive design support.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Lean manufacturing practices.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for assigned work.
• Make independent decisions within assigned responsibilities while appropriately escalating business and technical risks.
• Demonstrate increasing levels of technical leadership, collaboration, mentoring, and organizational influence consistent with the role level.
