Job summary

Advastar, Inc. | Recruiting & Staffing seeks a Production Drafter to turn engineering concepts into precise, production-ready drawings for the Phoenix area. You will use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit to create layouts, dimensions, materials, and assembly documentation for the plant floor.

The role is office-based, Monday–Friday, with the opportunity to grow as the company standardizes on Revit within modern BIM workflows and supports a clear path for continued development.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar.
• 2 to 5 years of drafting experience, preferably in a production or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Turn engineering designs and specifications into production-ready drawings the plant floor can build from without rework
• Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and blueprints with accurate dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions
• Partner with engineers and project teams to resolve discrepancies and fold in changes before they reach production
• Verify every drawing for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications and applicable codes
• Calculate material and equipment needs to support efficient manufacturing
• Keep drawings, revisions, and documentation organized and current
