Job summary

Advastar, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Production Drafter to convert design concepts into production-ready drawings for the plant floor using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Revit.

This office-based role collaborates with engineers to produce detailed drawings with precise dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions, while supporting BIM workflows and moving toward Revit-based processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certification in drafting/engineering technology
• Proficiency in CAD and BIM: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit
• 2–5 years drafting experience in production/manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Turn engineering designs and specifications into production-ready drawings the plant floor can build from without rework
• Produce detailed drawings, schematics, and blueprints with accurate dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions
• Partner with engineers and project teams to resolve discrepancies and fold in changes before they reach production
• Verify every drawing for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with specifications and applicable codes
• Calculate material and equipment needs to support efficient manufacturing
• Keep drawings, revisions, and documentation organized and current
