Job summary

Gossner Foods, Inc. is seeking a night-shift team member in Utah to support slicer operations. You will read pallet sheets, prepare product blocks for slicing, and assemble/disassemble slice units.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally, with a training pay starting at $18.50/hour and potential to reach $20.50/hour after skill levels. Benefits include medical options, PTO, and 401k.

Responsibilities

• Analyze slicer operations and adjust programs to meet slice requirements.
• Read Pallet sheets and anticipate next product.
• Cut product blocks into loaves for slicer units.
• Remove product from shipping boxes and product tubes.
• Change wires on the cutters quickly and efficiently.
• Assemble and disassemble slice units.
• Follow GMP, food safety, quality and sanitation policies.

• Read Pallet sheets and understand what product is coming next.
• Cut product blocks into manageable loaves for the slicer units.
• Removes product from shipping boxes and product tubes.
• Changes wires on the cutters quickly and efficiently.
• Assemble and disassemble slice units.
• Strictly adheres and enforces the company GMP policy, food safety, quality policies and sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Candidates must pass a pre-employment background check and drug test.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Will be required to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally.

Schedule:

• Night Shift, Monday to Thursday occasionally Fridays
• 6pm to 6am
• NO WEEKENDS!!

Pay

• Training pay starts at $18.50/Hour with a potential to reach $20.50/Hour after meeting all skill levels.
