Position Summary

The Production Baker is an execution specialist within Dolce Bakery’s heart. This role is responsible for the disciplined preparation, mixing, and baking of all products to \"The Standard.\" You are expected to operate with high energy, extreme attention to detail, and a \"no-excuses\" work ethic. You don't just follow recipes; you own the quality of every batch you touch. You work with efficiency and speed, ensuring that the kitchen remains organized, sanitary, and high-performing at all times.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Technical Execution: Accurately scale, mix, and bake the full Dolce portfolio, including cake batters, cookie doughs, scones, custards, fillings, icings, and laminated doughs. 100% recipe adherence is the baseline.
  • Quality Ownership: Audit your own work. If a batch isn't perfect, you flag it immediately. You are responsible for the consistency and excellence of every tray that leaves your station.
  • Operational Efficiency: Maintain a fast, disciplined pace to meet daily production pars. Move with purpose and urgency.
  • Clean as you Go: Own the sanitation of your workspace, including the pantry, fridge, and freezer. Perform deep cleaning of equipment and surfaces without being asked.
  • Inventory Discipline: Assist in receiving and rotating stock (FIFO). Ensure all ingredients are stored properly and labeled accurately.
  • Extreme Ownership: Take initiative. If you see a problem, solve it or report it with a suggested solution. Support your teammates and the Production Kitchen Manager to ensure zero production delays.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the FOH and other departments when needed. Be a \"team-first\" player who is flexible enough to jump in wherever the bakery needs you most.

  • Capacity for sustained movement and standing throughout production shifts.
  • Proven ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Continuous physical agility, including reaching, stooping, and bending.
  • Resilience in high-temperature environments and around active bakery machinery.
