Job summary

Wet Willie's in Los Angeles is seeking a Baker to support production and baking of all breads in a fast-paced setting. You will follow recipes precisely, operate commercial ovens and mixers, and manage day-to-day bakery tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards.

You must thrive under pressure, multitask effectively, and be punctual, with flexibility for early shifts, weekends, and holidays. This role requires physical endurance and teamwork in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial ovens, cooking equipment and mixers.
• Knives and mechanical slicers.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
• Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures.
• Ability to come to work regularly and on time, to follow directions, to take criticism, to get along with co-workers and supervisors, to treat coworkers, supervisors and guests with respect and courtesy.
• Must be able to work in a high paced environment
• Standing for extended amounts of time
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds (and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance)
• Work late or irregular hours, early mornings, nights, weekends and some holidays
