Job summary

AtWork Group is hiring a Wood Finishing Associate in the Brier Creek area of Raleigh, NC. This full-time role offers hourly pay ranging from $17 to $19, based on experience, with weekly daytime shifts and overtime opportunities.

The position involves preparing wood products for staining, sanding, distressing, and routine finishing work in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with woodworking and toolbox skills is preferred, and weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous woodworking, wood finishing, staining, cabinet shop experience or similar.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools (sanders mostly).
• Ability to work independently and stay productive throughout the shift.
• Ability to meet production deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Able to stand for 10-hour shifts.
• Willing to work overtime and occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare wood doors for stain application.
• Sand and remove defects using hand and power tools.
• Distress wood products to specifications.
• Repair minor surface imperfections.
• Maintain production goals while ensuring quality workmanship.
• Work with multiple departments throughout the manufacturing process.

NOW HIRING: WOOD FINISHING ASSOCIATE Brier Creek Area | Full-Time | $17-$19/hr based on experience

We' re looking for experienced individuals with a background in woodworking, staining, sanding, or finishing who are ready to put their skills to work in a fast-paced production environment.

PAY & SCHEDULE

• Pay: $17-$19/hr based on experience
• Weekly Pay Monday-Friday: 7: 00 AM - 5: 30 PM
• Overtime Available: 5-10 hours weekly
• Saturday Availability Required When Needed

WHAT YOU' LL BE DOING

• Preparing wood doors for stain application
• Sanding and removing defects using hand and power tools
