Job summary

DSA Doors in Raleigh, NC is seeking skilled woodworkers to join our growing production team building custom doors. You’ll work on curved joinery, read tape measures, and operate saws and drills with training provided.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company matching, PTO, and opportunities for advancement. Pay is $18.00-$20.00 per hour with 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Expert proficiency with curved wood and wood joinery.
• Professional experience to accurately measuring length, cutting wood material, power saws & drills.
• Lift upwards to 70 lbs frequently over a standard work day.
• Detailed and self-motivated.
• Possess safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts.
• Build wood doors using hand tools.
• Sand products using sander or sandpaper.
• Read tape measurements.
• Utilize miter saws, air guns, and hammer.
• Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood-nailing machines.

Responsibilities

This position will be part of a team to make custom wood doors. No tools necessary, all are provided. Training will be provided.

• Cut, shape, and smooth wooden parts
• Build wood doors using hand tools
• Sand products using sander or sandpaper
• Read tape measurements
• Utilize miter saws, air guns, and hammer
• Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, lathes, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and wood-nailing machines
