Job summary

BlueScope Buildings is seeking a Production Associate to support the production process by loading and unloading materials from machines, conveyors, and related equipment. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and a safety-first mindset in a night-shift environment.

Candidates will use torque tools and measuring devices to ensure quality, assist in assembly, and participate in continuous improvement activities. Training and benefits are provided to support growth and stability.

Responsibilities

• Load materials: loads and unloads material from machines, conveyors, etc.
• Prepare and assemble: assemble materials with a torque gun and assist in placement of products on equipment or work surfaces.
• Ensure quality: use measuring tools to inspect materials before, during, and after production.
• Contribute to improvement: actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and organize: support housekeeping and 5-S standards.

Join Our Team as a Production Associate!

We’re looking for skilled and detail-oriented individuals to assist in the production process by loading and unloading material from machines, conveyors, and mobile equipment; supplying or holding materials or tools; inspecting or wrapping; as well as stacking and banding material or products. Whether you’re experienced in production or eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, we welcome candidates of all backgrounds to bring their unique strengths to our team.

Hours are Sunday night - Friday morning 10:00pm-6:00am with some OT required.

Pay for this position is $20.81/hour

and will include a $2.00/hour shift differential

• Maintain and Organize: Support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
