Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Minnesota is hiring a dependable Trim Picking Production Associate for the 1st shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM). You will pick, package, and stage steel trim packages, verify quantities, and use a handheld scan gun while learning product colors and trim profiles.

Team-oriented work with safety at the forefront. No prior warehouse experience is required; we train motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• Willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Stand for 90% of the work day and have reliable transportation.
• Punctuality and attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pick, package and stage steel trim packages according to a daily schedule.
• Verify material and quantities for accuracy and quality.
• Use a handheld scan gun and perform basic computer tasks.
• Learn product colors and trim profiles.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Collaborate closely with teammates and assist forklift and customer service tasks as needed.

Job Description

Base pay rate is $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 5:30AM - 2:00PM, hours may vary depending on operations

We are seeking a dependable and team-oriented Trim Picking Production Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately picking, organizing, packaging, and staging steel trims for delivery. Team members play an important role in maintaining quality, efficiency and teamwork throughout the operation.

• Pick, package and stage steel building trim packages according to a daily schedule.
• Verify material and quantities for accuracy and quality.
• Use a handheld scan gun and able to do some computer work.
• Learn product colors and trim profiles.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Work closely in a team environment.
• Assist with some forklift and customer service responsibility.

Safety:

• We supply safety glasses, steel toe footwear allowance, cut resistant sleeves and gloves.

Qualifications

• No previous warehouse or metal building experience is required - we are willing to train motivated individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Able to be on your feet 90% of the work day.
• Reliable Transportation, Attendance, & Punctuality.
