Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions in Coppell, TX is seeking a Production Associate Technician to perform machine hardware adjustments, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance on designated production equipment. You will learn to resolve downtime and escalate to senior staff as needed.

The role requires standing for shifts, lifting 25+ lbs, and working late week nights (Wed–Fri plus alternating Saturdays). The hourly pay ranges $27.00–$33.00 USD with shift differential and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; 1+ year production experience.
• Proficiency in operation and repair of machines.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to take direction and work under time constraints.
• Ability to stand for full shifts and lift 25+ lbs.
• The shift is Late Week Nights: Wed, Thurs, Fri, and every other Saturday, 6:00pm to 6:00am.
• Hourly pay range is $27.00 - $33.00 USD, plus a shift differential.
• Bonus Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the hourly through-put of the inserting or bindery machines ensuring that they are running at optimum capacity.
• Clean equipment, tools, maintenance shop, and general work area to ensure a productive work environment.
• Effectively track parts usage and maintain an accurate spare parts inventory.
• Order replacements when stock levels fall below suggested level.
• Performs minor equipment repairs such as changing/adjusting belts, replacing worn feeding/separating rollers, and maintenance as required on designated insertion and production equipment.
• Reads and learns effectively utilize technical service bulletins and manuals to resolve equipment issues, develop their technical skills, and know when to escalates problems to enlist the expertise of vendors, contractors, subject matter experts or management to aid in problem solving.
• Requires the direct supervision of a production Technician or above when working inside any safety cover for more complicated/major repairs.
• Ensures that all spare part inventory processes and procedures are followed.
• Appropriately logs all support calls into technician tracking system (RPM, CLS or other) to ensure all work time and parts are appropriately accounted for.
• Contributes to a positive quality of work life and fosters team spirit and morale.
• Assists operators with machine setup, clearing jams, camera adjustments, and other equipment related issues.
• Checks the quality of material processed on production equipment to ensure it meets Broadridge and client standards.
• Consistently adheres to all safety procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Production Equipment Technical Support or a more senior technician, the associate production technician performs machine hardware adjustments, minor corrective repairs, and preventative maintenance on designated production equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability. They learn the skills required to resolve and prevent equipment downtime and know when to upscale the issue to enlist the expertise of Sr. level technicians or management to aid in the problem resolution process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred 1+ years’ experience within a production environment with resultant knowledge of machine repair preferred.
• A proven proficiency in the operation and repair of machines would be optimal.
• Good oral and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to take direction and to work effectively under time constraints is necessary.
• Ability to work while standing through-out the duration of assigned shift.
• Ability to lift, carry and move 25+lbs., through-out duration of assigned shift.
• The shift is Late Week Nights: Wed, Thurs, Fri, and every other Saturday, 6:00pm to 6:00am.
• The hourly pay range is $27.00 - $33.00 USD, plus a shift differential.
