Job summary

Specialty Granules LLC (SGI) is seeking Production Associates at its Blue Ridge Summit, PA plant to support production demand and maintain housekeeping in the outdoor plant environment. Training is provided and overtime opportunities are available for motivated workers.

The role involves shoveling material, unclogging chutes, and assisting in routine maintenance while safely operating equipment such as bobcat skid steers and dump trucks under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and have a High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Heavy industrial manufacturing background or construction experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without need for employer-sponsored visa (work permit).

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor to support production demand and maintain housekeeping in the plant.
• Work outdoors and tolerate inclement weather conditions.
• Assist in routine plant maintenance on planned down days and operate basic repair tasks.
• Operate mobile equipment such as bobcat skid steers, front end loaders, dump trucks, and vacuum trucks as required.
