Job summary

Palmer-Donavin in Etna, OH is seeking a Production Associate to read work orders, identify door specifications, and prepare materials for fabrication of fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products. You will help maintain quality, safety, and efficiency across the manufacturing process.

The shift is Sunday–Thursday from 3:30pm to Midnight, with overtime as needed. Pay starts at $23.65/hr plus eligibility for company bonuses and a comprehensive benefits program, including 401(k) with company match and

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine door specifications and required components.
• Locate, pull, and modify door slabs and parts to meet custom order specs.
• Use hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products.
• Move doors and materials between production stations, handling up to 75 pounds.
• Inspect completed work for defects and quality, making necessary corrections.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment with proper safety procedures.

This role involves fabricating and assembling fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products while maintaining quality standards, operational efficiency, and workplace safety throughout the manufacturing process.

Success in this role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, safe material handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 3:30pm - Midnight (overtime as business requires).

Pay: $23.65/hr+

Key Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine door specifications and required components.
• Locate, pull, and modify door slabs and parts to meet custom order specifications.
• Use hand and power tools, including routers, saws, drills, and nailers, to fabricate and assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products.
• Move doors and materials between production stations, including handling products weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Inspect completed work for defects, production errors, and quality concerns while making necessary corrections.
• Perform shop cleanup, light maintenance, and other assigned duties to support daily production operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established safety procedures and operational standards.

Qualifications

Experience working in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations-oriented environment preferred.
