SURGE Staffing is hiring for a Production Associate – Meat Packer in a fast-paced food production and packaging setting. You will stand, move, repackage meat, palletize materials, and follow food safety and workplace procedures.

Responsibilities include repackaging meat products, handling items up to 60 lbs, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while adhering to safety protocols. Shift is 1st, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with a refrigerated environment.

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Ability to safely lift and handle required materials.
• Willingness to work in a food production and refrigerated environment.
• Previous warehouse, production, manufacturing, food processing, packaging, or palletizing experience is helpful but not required.

• Band and prepare pallets for storage and future shipment.
• Regularly handle materials weighing approximately 40–50 lbs.
• Inspect green peppers for foreign debris and repackage them into clean totes approximately 2–3 times per week.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, PPE, and workplace safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow supervisor instructions and production procedures.

Job Summary
