Job summary

Stryker in Utah is seeking an assembler to contribute to the completion of a variety of products by wiring and assembling components. The role follows process work instructions and requires adherence to quality standards, with emphasis on meeting cycle times and schedules.

You will prepare and process electrical and mechanical parts, maintain records, and ensure readiness for shipment per customer specs. Weekend overtime may be required, with a comprehensive benefits package available.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components including sub-assemblies and electrical/mechanical parts.
  • Prepare and process components for product lines.
  • Follow work instructions and test procedures to meet quality requirements.
  • Meet build rates, schedules, and cycle times.
  • Interface with manufacturing systems and document related records.
  • Prepare products for shipment per specifications.
  • Maintain clean, safe work area and ensure quality of own work.
  • Work overtime including weekends.

Schedule: Friday - Sunday, 4am - 5:30pm, OT as needed by the business

What you will do:
  • Under general supervision, assembles components that may include sub-assemblies, manual components, electrical components, and all other related components to contribute to the completion of a variety of products
  • Prepare and process electrical and mechanical components for assigned product lines
  • Work from process work instructions and test procedures to complete tasks along with monitoring and recording related documentation to meet quality requirements
  • Follow production build rates, and schedules and meet required cycle times
  • Interface with manufacturing systems using computers or other electronic devices as required
  • Assemble cartons and containers and prepare products for shipment in accordance with domestic, international, and/or customer specifications
  • Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of own work and work area
  • Committed to quality by striving for reliability and quality in our products, continuously searching for ways to enhance performance, and meeting all training and documentation criteria
  • Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends

$21.25 Hourly plus bonus eligible + benefits
