Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. seeks a Production Associate to support the manufacturing team. You will load and unload material from machines, conveyors, and mobile equipment, and assist with supplying tools and placing material for processing.

Responsibilities include wrapping, stacking, and banding materials, building crates, and participating in continuous improvement activities. Strong attention to safety and housekeeping is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material from machines, conveyors, and mobile equipment.
• Place products on equipment or work surfaces; supply or hold materials or tools.
• Wrap, stack, and band material or products.
• Build crates.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Perform housekeeping and 5‑S duties as assigned.
