Job summary

BlueScope North America is seeking a Production Associate to support our manufacturing operations. The role involves loading and unloading materials from machines and conveyors, preparing products for processing, and assisting with tooling and materials handling on the shop floor.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma and prefer at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Basic computer skills and the ability to follow written and spoken instructions are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or equivalent ACT WorkKeys certification may be acceptable.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads material from machines, conveyors, and equipment.
• Assists in placing products on equipment or work surfaces and supplies materials or tools.
• Wraps, stacks, and bands material or products; builds crates.
• Participates in continuous improvement and corrective actions.
• Performs housekeeping and 5‑S duties as assigned.
