Versant Media, CNBC division, is seeking a Production Associate for halftime/fast money at CNBC headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. This full-time hourly role supports producers with story production, pre-interviews, and coordinating feeds and schedules.

You'll gather background information on business and financial news, collaborate with technical operations and publicity, and participate in live television production while maintaining tight deadlines.

What you’ll do:

• Assist producers with story production and pre-interviews.


• Find background information on a wide range of business and financial news stories, using a variety of sources such as the Internet, newspapers, and magazines.


• Coordinate production requests, feeds/Zooms, and schedules.


• Coordinate with other departments including technical operations, publicity, promotions, marketing, dotcom, and others.

What you'll bring:

• BA degree in journalism or business, or an equivalent degree.


• Minimum 1 year of production experience.

• Proficiency with content systems, especially the iNews computer system is preferred. Interest in and proficiency in social media a plus.


• Exceptional interpersonal & teamwork skills, exhibiting proven ability to work collaboratively, with individuals at all levels, and across all functional groups.


• Self-starter and be able to make quick, editorially sound decisions while remaining calm under pressure.


• Ability to multi-task, and have experience working in live television.


• Ability to work with others under tight deadlines.


• Highly organized and detail oriented.

• Business news knowledge a plus.
