Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read scales and use hand tools.
• Ability to read work orders and follow instructions precisely.
• Good communication skills and dependable with regular on-site shifts.

Responsibilities

• Safely set up equipment to meet production requirements.
• Read and interpret work orders to understand packaging requirements.
• Read a tape measure; use calipers and micrometers as needed.
• Assist with changeovers between work orders to meet specifications.
• Support machine operator with mandrel installation and adjustments.
• Communicate quality concerns and equipment issues to the operator.
• Remove finished cores and stack them onto pallets or trays.
• Conduct periodic quality checks using the CSAR quality system.
• Identify when to change nylon cutting sleeves and timing.
• Troubleshoot quality issues such as double cuts or burrs.
• Maintain compliance with OPEX recordkeeping.
