Job summary

Worthington Steel in Cuyahoga Heights, OH is seeking a Production Associate for the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.). No manufacturing experience is required as comprehensive training is provided to help you learn and grow.

You will safely operate forklifts and cranes, move and inspect steel products, and perform quality checks as part of a hands-on production team. A strong work ethic and coachability are valued in this role.

Qualifications

• No prior manufacturing experience required; training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years old; able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to read a tape measure and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

You'll receive hands-on training from experienced team members to learn how to:

• Safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes

• Work safely as part of a production team

Previous manufacturing or equipment experience is helpful, but it is not required.

Your Schedule

This opening is specifically for 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• Approximately 90 days of paid training on 1st shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• After training, transition to 3rd shift, 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 8-hour shifts with a paid lunch
• Most weeks are approximately 48 hours and include required weekend overtime, typically worked on 1st shift

Please make sure you can accommodate both the first-shift training schedule and the regular third-shift schedule before applying.

• Reliable transportation. This facility is not accessible by public transportation, walking or biking.
