Job description

Redwood is localizing a global battery supply chain that seamlessly integrates recovery, reuse, and recycling — keeping critical minerals in circulation and driving the energy transition. Founded in 2017, we’re delivering low-cost and large-scale energy storage and producing battery materials in the U.S. for the first time, all from batteries we already have.

This role supports daily production operations by moving materials, assembling components, and preparing finished goods for shipment. You’ll work on a continuously running production line, using equipment and systems to keep materials flowing safely and efficiently while meeting quality and output goals.

Shift

Full-time, Monday–Friday (initial schedule). This role will transition to a multi-shift operation (including nights and weekends) as production ramps. Flexibility to support different shifts is required.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and train on production and powered industrial equipment, including forklifts.
  • Pick, stage, and load materials and inventory to support production flow.
  • Maintain accurate data and system transactions within manufacturing systems.
  • Execute production processes to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Operate safely at all times, following proper use of production and material-handling equipment.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to keep production running smoothly.
  • Follow all company policies related to safety, quality, attendance, and workplace conduct.
  • Work in an electrostatic discharge (ESD) controlled environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment.
  • Experience in electronic assembly and/or troubleshooting preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with changing priorities.
  • Experience using scanners, label printers, and other IT/OT equipment.
  • Strong hazard recognition and commitment to safe work practices.
  • Passion for sustainability and making the world a better place!
Physical Requirements
  • Complete a respiratory fit test and medical evaluation and wear a fitted respirator for the full shift.
  • Stand for extended periods (more than 80% of the shift).
  • Stoop, bend, push, pull and perform repetitive physical tasks.
  • Operate and train on equipment such as forklifts, boom lifts, scissor lifts, and other specialized machinery.
  • Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to loud noise, dust, chemicals, and varying temperatures, including heat and cold.
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, or holidays based on operational needs.

The position is full-time. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
