Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Denver, CO is seeking a Production Associate to fabricate components for final window assembly in a fast-paced environment. The role involves measuring, cutting, and handling materials, with emphasis on quality and safety.

The position requires 18+ years of age, US work authorization, and the ability to pass background checks and drug testing. Prior manufacturing or tape measure experience is preferred. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure, inspect, examine, and observe for product defects.
• Make fraction and decimal conversions.
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $20.00 per hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
