Atlas Staffing, Inc. is hiring a Composite Welding Technician for a growing aerospace manufacturing company in Post Falls, Idaho. This role focuses on joining composite materials using soldering irons and approved heat joining processes to create precise seams.

You will read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings, inspect seams for dimensional accuracy, and maintain production records using basic computer systems. Training is on days, then moves to a regular swing shift.

Qualifications

Atlas Staffing is hiring a Composite Welding Technician for a growing aerospace manufacturing company in Post Falls, Idaho ! This is not a traditional metal welding position. In this role, you will use soldering irons and approved heat joining processes to create precise seams in composite components. Role Purpose

Support production by joining composite materials according to documented manufacturing, safety, and quality requirements. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in detailed work, follows instructions carefully, and values quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Operate soldering irons and other approved tools to join composite seams.
• Perform heat welding and joining of composite materials using approved production processes.
• Read and follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and manufacturing documentation.
• Inspect components before, during, and after joining to confirm dimensional accuracy and seam quality.
• Verify completed work meets applicable specifications and quality standards.
• Enter production information and review digital work orders using basic computer systems.
• Clean and maintain tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
• Follow all safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Produce detailed, consistent work while meeting established craftsmanship and production expectations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods on a concrete floor with antifatigue matting.
• Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection when applicable.
• Ability to work around production equipment, noise, and changing temperatures.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay

• Day Shift Training Pay: $19.00/hr.-$19.00/hr.

Shift: Train on days and then move to a regular swing shift

Training Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Regular Shift: Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM
