Description

Job Title: Production Associate

Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 10:00PM – 6:30 AM

Facility Location: Chester, CT

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble components and products according to specifications, blueprints, and work instructions (training provided as needed).
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly machinery safely and effectively to build products or assemble parts.
  • Work as part of a team to keep production line moving smoothly.
  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders or reports (training as needed).
  • Communicate clearly and independently with all team members and supervisors.
  • Open to learning new tasks, inter‑departmental cross‑training, and assisting in work areas as needed.
  • Use simple electrical test equipment and follow written procedures to test products to ensure functionality (training provided as needed).
  • Apply basic computer skills for tasks such as running test programs, tracking work orders, and printing necessary paperwork.
  • Solve basic problems independently, seek help when needed, and escalated more complex issues appropriately.
  • Understand and adhere to company quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure products meet standards.
  • Follow production procedures, safety protocols, and company guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Occasionally work overtime.
  • Communicate effectively with co‑workers, supervisors, and third parties in English.

Physical Demands and Abilities
  • Lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Perform repetitive tasks regularly.
  • Stand for entire shift.
  • Use manual dexterity to assemble parts quickly and accurately.
  • Maintain required vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
