Job summary

GE HealthCare is seeking hands-on personnel to join the Aurora Production Team. You will perform diverse assembly tasks supporting product development and manufacturing, following procedures and BOMs to maintain daily production output.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read basic technical information, and strong attention to quality and detail. You may participate in quality checks and Lean activities, with adherence to EHS standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates attention to detail and quality-minded work habits.
• Proficiency in understanding basic written technical information.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team lead, engineers, supervisors and managers to improve quality and efficiency.
• Support in LEAN activities and training sessions as needed.
• Comply with EHS and Quality procedures and policies.

This site is home to MIM Software within GE HealthCare’s Advanced Imaging Solutions segment, develops AI-enabled imaging analytics and workflow platforms that help clinicians turn complex medical images into meaningful insights, so they can diagnose conditions, plan treatments, and deliver more personalized patient care.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Reads and follows work procedures and schematics or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
• Maintain accurate records of the work performed and other records as may be required by management.
• Performs manufacturing/assembly operations on one to two production lines and various tasks following procedures, bills of materials, work instructions, and process aid sheets.
• Maintains daily production output.
• Participate in quality control inspections.
• Works with team lead, engineers, supervisors, and managers to improve quality and process efficiency.
• Other duties as assigned and may be asked to be included in Quality and LEAN activities, training sessions, and employee activity teams.
• Comply with EHS and Quality procedures, regulations and policies.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/local equivalent
• Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information
• Demonstrated attention to detail and quality-minded work habits

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of manufacturing experience
• Thru hole and surface mount soldering experience
• Proficient with computer programs like Microsoft Word, Excel
