Job summary

WorkSmart Staffing is seeking a Press Operator for the 2nd shift in Piedmont, SC. The role involves operating automotive stamping equipment, loading parts, inspecting quality, and documenting results to meet production goals.

You will handle labeling, inventory tracking, and assist with line changes, training, and continuous improvement while adhering to TS16949 and site safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and processes to support automotive stamping production.

• Tag, label, and track parts, and complete documentation.
• Support continuous improvement and assist with changeovers and adjustments.
• Follow TS16949 and plant procedures and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Job Title: Press Operator - 2nd shift Location: Piedmont, South Carolina 29673 Hourly Rate: $17.50 Schedule: 2PM-10:15PM - currently working 6-7 days a week. Shifts can last up to 10 hours.

Job Overview

Production Associate supporting automotive stamping production by operating assigned processes and equipment while following safety and quality standards. Ensures parts are handled, inspected, labeled, and documented correctly to meet customer and internal goals.

What You'll Do

• Operate equipment and assigned processes to support production of automotive parts while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Load/unload parts from production lines or cells and properly sort, rack, repack, and verify product as needed.
• Inspect parts according to quality expectations and document part condition and any required line changes.
• Tag, label, and track parts/containers; complete required documentation and support accurate inventory handling.
• Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with training, equipment changeovers, and adjustments as directed.
• Follow TS16949 and plant procedures, maintain clean and organized work areas, and comply with all safety rules.
