Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 in Elizabethton, TN. Responsibilities include operating production equipment, fabricating parts, loading/unloading materials, and ensuring quality on the manufacturing line. This role supports efficiency improvements and safe, compliant work practices.

You will work 5:00PM to 3:30AM, Monday to Thursday, with a focus on accuracy, safety, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate 1 to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various production operations, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the overall manufacturing process efficiency.

• Operate production equipment and perform assembly operations according to established procedures
• Fabricate and produce component parts for final product assembly
• Handle materials, including loading, unloading, and proper storage
• Utilize hand tools and power equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform quality checks and inspect products for defects
• Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, and basic technical drawings
• Make accurate measurements using precision tools
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
• Report any equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools and power equipment
