Cornerstone Building Brands in North Brunswick Township, NJ is hiring a Saw Operator to accurately cut vinyl profiles and assemble window units. Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production, or saw operation experience is an asset.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and stand for duration of entire shift.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and measuring tape.
• Be able to recognize material by shape and color.
• Capable of using computerized equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools to manually construct window units.
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications.
• Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards.
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques.
• Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process.
• Perform quality inspections / audits and engage in problem solving to resolve issues.
• Inspect finished products and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO).
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.
• Work in other areas where required.

JOB DETAILS:

Pay Rate: $17.75

Shift: 1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm M-F

The saw operator is responsible for accurately cutting vinyl profiles to specified dimensions using industrial saw equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operation of various hand tools to manually construct window units
• Set up welding equipment and select appropriate materials based on specifications
• Ensure high-quality welds to meet production standards
• Operate welding machines to fabricate and assemble window frames using various welding techniques
• Ensure accurate measurements and alignment during the welding process
• Ensures overall quality of work produced by performing quality inspections /audits and engaging in problem solving activities to resolve issues of concern
• Inspect finished products for quality and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures and regulations (5S / PPE / LOTO)
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency
• Work in other areas where required.

• Previous manufacturing, production, or saw operation experience is an asset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
